The mission of the Pontifical Mission Societies involves a strong spiritual dimension as Pope Francis has often recalled.

In this spirit, the second International Pilgrimage to Lourdes invites all the faithful to a strong spiritual experience.

We would be happy to entrust the activities of the universal Church to Notre-Dame of Lourdes because, according to Pauline Jaricot, foundress of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith "it is necessary to join the Immaculate Heart of Mary to obtain the conversion of hearts, the sanctification of the Church and to make everyone know Jesus Christ".
