International pilgrimage of Lourdes 2018
The mission of the Pontifical Mission Societies involves a strong spiritual dimension as Pope Francis has often recalled.
In this spirit, the First International Pilgrimage to Lourdes invites all the faithful to a strong spiritual experience.
This year occurs the 160th anniversary of the appearances of Lourdes and we would be happy to entrust the activities of the universal Church to Notre-Dame of Lourdes because, according to Pauline Jaricot, foundress of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith "it is necessary to join the Immaculate Heart of Mary to obtain the conversion of hearts, the sanctification of the Church and to make everyone know Jesus Christ".

Approximate price: 250/300 euro (hotel, board, miscellaneous expenses)
Why in Lourdes ?
The message of the Virgin to St. Bernadette Soubirous is simple and for everyone. It is universal and for all time.
Mary invites us to know Christ, source of life. She invites us to a journey towards God through prayer and pilgrimage.
The message of Lourdes is at the same time centre and source of evangelization: as in missionary work, Mary approaches Bernadette, to prepare her and invite her to fulfil her mission.

Morning: Arrival and accommodation
Afternoon: 2:00 pm Opening Celebration; 3:30 pm Conference by Father Cabes, vice-chancellor, entitled « The mission in the footsteps of Bernadette » ; 5:00 pm Eucharistic procession and blessing of the sick ; 8:30 pm free time
Wednesday, May 23rd
Morning: 9:30 am international Mass in the Basilica St Pie X
Afternoon: 3:30 pm Rosary at the Grotto led by the PMS ; 5:00 pm Conference entitled » Do whatever He tells you »; 8:30 pm Marian procession
Thursday, May 24th
Morning: Mass at the Grotto ; 10:00 am meeting with witnesses of the mission « Mary and the mission »
Afternoon: Pools or gesture of the water

Friday, May 25th

What are the dates of the pilgrimage?

How much does the pilgrimage costs?
The pilgrimage costs 250 / 300 € (hotel, board, miscellaneous expenses). The price depends on the number of pilgrims.
I would like to participate with my family, are we considered a group?
Not really. It refers to a considerable number of persons who belong to an organization or an association.
